house of flying daggers (AMAZING cinematogrophy, i'm just not into that genre of film)
vanity fair (really wanted to like it, but wasn't so impressed)
secret window (keep bumping it down, its not that good)
anchorman (will ferrell funny)
waking life (very cool, but if you are going for surreal, not as good as what the *bleep* do we know!?)

bicycle thief looks good :) also - like water for chocolate is on my list already :) so i think we should pick a third foreign film (brown or otherwise, i don't care) so there is a theme :)
