hi guys!
i think rupa's working her ass off in India, anusha's in india now too, isn't she? i'm so bad at keeping track of dates. and megan, you're working on applications and vet school stuff, right?
everything's okay here. i'm totally hyper today because we won our basketball game last night (at the recreational league that jackie and i play at) by like 20 points. the girls on the other team were laughing at us at the beginning, i guess because we were a lot shorter and they didn't think we looked like we could play, so it was a very satisfying win. and i'm also looking forward to my trip to california next week! i'm recruiting at caltech from tuesday night - thursday night, and then i'm spending the weekend there just having fun and partying at caltech. elaine, a friend of mine from work, is going to meet up with me for the weekend, so we're going to party in LA together. i already emailed pulgui to see if he was going to be around, and i received a very nice response. he said i could stay with him (we already got a hotel, but it was nice of him to offer) and that he'd drive me around and that we'd party and stuff. it was nice that he sounded so excited. i'm looking forward to seeing him.
i got an email from ekta yesterday. apparently, she's based in new york now, so she's actually living here. i'm going to try to see her this weekend. she has a car in the city and wanted to see if i was available to drive up to rochester to visit you, megan, sometime this fall. i told her that anusha and i discussed visiting you this fall but that you seemed pretty busy with vet school stuff, so we decided to push the trip back to the beginning of next year. i also told her that driving isn't worth it because it's a pretty long drive and jet blue is pretty cheap. anyway, ekta seemed interested in going to visit you whenever anusha and i go. i don't mind, but i don't know how you guys feel about that. . .
